I launched Apples Learning Solutions LTD in March 2015, after over a decade working in Learning. Underpinned by the EASE methodology and with a vision to make learning easy, always.


Since then I've continued my love of designing and developing exceptional experiences and I've done this while working as a Contractor, Freelancer and Supplier to some of the biggest companies in the world. Not to mention launching our Online Learning Store, launching ALS Coaching and in Summer 2020 starting the process of taking all of our Facilitated learning online, to help people everywhere to continue to learn, grow and develop anytime.

So how do I do what I do?


Firstly, it's worth pointing out that I rarely do it alone. When I'm working with a client on a Contract basis, any success I have is only possible because of the work the Client's team supports. When I'm supplying Learning Products (either Digital, Virtual or Classroom) I'm supported by an amazing graphics designer and her creativity to bring to life even the most abstract of concepts.


And when I work as a Leader or Partner on major client projects I'm supported by other experts in Learning through an extensive network of on-demand Facilitators and Designers.


Secondly, I do what I do by getting to the core of the challenge, knowing where the blockers are to making learning easy and then putting in place tools, frameworks and practices that break through barriers, deliver learning at the right time, to the right people in the right way.


So what have you done before?


I know you'll be wanting some reassurance that this is more than just an opportunity to brag so here's some of the things I've achieved working with some amazing employers and clients as a Contractor (either directly or through an agency) or Solutions Provider.


I've supported clients like Diageo PLC (2019/20) and Centrica (2016-18) as a Learning Experience Expert. This meant I was responsible for leading specific projects which  enhanced the learning culture and streamlined the Learning Operations to transform the culture and experience for individuals and strengthen the partnership approach between Global Learning and Development centres of excellence and critical organisational stakeholders. I did all of this while creating and embedding brand new Project, Resource and Learning & Development ways of working across the Global Learning Centres of Excellence.

Similarly while supporting Nationwide Building Society (2014/15) and HMRC (2014/15) I supported the National Learning and Development functions and reduced the ‘time-to-market’ for all learning activity by implementing pro-active policies and procedures that supported data-driven decisions and equipped the Learning teams with consistent collateral to simplify how they developed learning experiences.

As a provider of Learning Solutions I've developed Digital Learning Solutions for the likes of DFS Group (2018/19), Cancer Research UK (2017/18), Capita (2018/19) and smaller businesses like Intraquest (2018/19). All focused on content that was meaningful, easy to use and and enabled rapid knowledge and skill growth for learners.

As an associate of a number of global learning providers (2017-2020), I've also used my expertise in Leadership to develop Facilitated and Virtually Facilitates programmes for Senior, Mid-Level and Junior leaders across a wide variety of industries with topics ranging from 'Building High Performing Teams', 'Strategic Thinking', 'Innovation' and 'Leadership Practices'.

As a self-confessed 'Learning Nerd' I've worked with a number of clients as they maximise the potential of their learning technology, whether this is Development Tools - Like Adobe (Creative Suite & Captivate), Articulate Storyline, Camtasia and Elucidat. Or their Learning Platforms (LMS/LXP) - like Cornerstone, Workday Learning,  CrossKnowledge, Totara, SuccessFactors and EdCast LXP. 

Do you have any qualifications to back this up?

Absolutely, I've got lots of them. I have qualifications in Learning Design, E-Design, Consultancy, Leadership, Coaching and NLP. I'm also a member of the American Board of NLP (ABNLP/ABH/TLT) and Association of NLP (ANLP) at a practitioner and professional level. Not to mention over 15 years of experience too!
